Our Approach
How We Think About Our Norfolk Metal Roof Coating Work

Everything about our Norfolk metal roof coating work starts on the roof. We coat commercial metal, low-slope, foam, and shingle roofs, and we only name a system after we have tested the screws and laps and checked the insulation.
A coating is a surface. It protects steel that is still solid, seals laps and screws, and reflects sun, and it is never a cover for wet insulation or rusted-out panels.
- Inspection before any price
- Repairs listed apart from the coating
- Product sheets followed for thickness and weather
Want Us to Walk Your Roof?
Most questions about coating get answered on the roof. Book a walk and we will show you what we find.
Inspection
What Our Roof Walk Covers
Every inspection checks the same eight things.
- Screws tested by hand along every row, with stripped and backed-out ones marked
- Side laps, end laps, and ridge caps checked for open sealant
- Rust sorted into surface rust to prime and rust-through to replace
- Insulation and deck checked from inside for water
- Curbs, stacks, vents, and skylights checked for cracked flashing
- Drains, scuppers, and gutters checked for blockage and leaks
- Low spots marked where water sits after rain
- Access, staging, and lift spots noted for the work plan
